All types of people benefit greatly from regular yoga practice, including athletes of all sports and levels, those recovering from an illness or injury, and moms-to-be looking to stay fit and help prepare for the coming delivery.
Hatha Yoga uses postures (asanas) and breathing techniques (pranayama) to develop flexibility and relaxation while focusing on proper alignment. Class concentrates on learning the traditional asanas, pranayama, mindfulness, and listening to the body. During practice poses are held for longer periods of time to help develop core strength, flexibility, balance and concentration.

The act of linking movement with breath, or a specific sequence of breath-synchronized movements used to transition between postures. Class emphasizes a continuous flow of movement where each part of the body is explored and worked in a deep and mindful way. Vinyasa flow builds heat, endurance, flexibility, strength and detoxifies the body. The practice incorporates a creative sequence of yoga poses linked by breath. Music may be played during class which can inspire physical, energetic, mental, intuitive, and pure bliss states of consciousness.
This class combines hatha yoga (practice of postures), and vinyasa yoga which focuses on connecting breath with movement. Practice focuses on increasing your balance, strength and flexibility. Modifications will be offered for beginners, and variations will be offered for more advanced students.

A class designed for beginners to yoga and for those practitioners looking for a refresher on the basics. During practice you will review fundamental yoga poses and proper alignment. This class incorporates pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation, and relaxation techniques.
This class blends meditations and restorative poses, which is typically done on the floor with lots of supportive props coupled with soothing music and aromatherapy to help the body release. Restorative poses are an important part of any long term yoga practice because they recharge our energy reserves, heal the effects of stress, and bring our nervous systems into a more balanced state. This class will leave you feeling relaxed, refreshed and renewed.
Meditation focuses the mind and consciously quiets the mind, and relaxes the body. Focusing on the breath or a mantra (sound) are meditation techniques that help reduce stress and anxiety in your daily life. Meditation allows you to enter a deep state of relaxation. This helps you deal with stressful situations or negative thoughts. Meditation allows you to focus your energy on the important and positive aspects of living.
